2. Cylindrical Roller Bearing :
Cylindrical roller bearings, with the least friction quotiety, are suitable for high-speed rotation. The rollers have linear contact with the raceway, and the bearings can carry heavier radial load. NJ and NF type of bearings have some loading capacity in one-way axial direction, and NH and NUP types can accept certain axial load in two directions. With the linear contact between cylindrical rollers and raceways, provides a high load capacity, which make the cylindrical roller bearings can carry big radial load and impact load.
3 . Cylindrical Roller Bearing Features :
N: The inner ring has two integral flanges and the outer ring is without flanges. Axial displacement of the shaft with respect to the housing can be accommodated in both directions within the bearing itself. Pressed steel and machined brass cages and allowed.
NU: The outer ring has two integral flanges and the inner ring is without flanges. Axial displacement of the shaft with respect to the housing can be accommodated in both directions within the bearing itself. Pressed steel and the machined brass cages are allowed.
NJ: The outer ring has two integral flanges and the inner ring has only one integral flange. The bearings are therefore suitable for the axial location of a shaft in one direction. Pressed steel and machined brass cages are allowed.
NF: The inner ring has two integral flanges and the outer ring has only one integral flange. The bearings can locate a shaft axially in one direction. Pressed steel and machined brass cages are allowed.
NUP: The outer ring has two integral flanges and the inner ring has one integral flange with one separating as flange ring. The bearings can be used as locating bearings, i.e. They can provide axial location for a shaft in both directions.
